We had a chance to finish off the base on Sunday. It didn’t go without a hitch though, I measured one outrigger incorrectly. Remember kids, measure twice cut once :@ We also fitted the main hoop and started trimming the right side which was slightly longer. It’s close but I’m still not happy with it.

On a related note, I’m looking to get some tube “holders” dummied up in the next few weeks that will also double as clamps for welding. I’ll post about that when I make some progress.
